Mayor Potencial is looking for a student interested in conducting global malnutrition and agricultural research in rural Latin America. Fields surveys on nutritional intake and physical examinations have been done for children in the rural village El Rodeito, Hondura in previous service trips. Mayor Potencial is now taking the next steps to educate and teach families how to produce crops that can address their nutritional needs. We want to work with a highly motivated student to analyze our past data and develop a detailed plan to create a local community garden within El Rodeito and develop other solutions. This student would also have the opportunity to go on a service trip to El Rodeito to start this initiative and conduct further research about the community's nutritional needs.
