*Fellowship opportunities are open to students from any college or university.*

Who we are looking for:

  • Students invested in helping small sustenance farming improve their livelihood.

  • Students interested in experiential learning opportunities in developing impoverished communities

  • Majoring/minoring in any agriculture related field or engineering

  • Intermediate-spoken Spanish preferred

What you will experience:

  • Conduct field research and develop new programs to help the whole community

  • Research opportunities of best practices to improve farming, fixing the water crisis, alternative power initiatives etc.

  • Many funding opportunities available through Off-Campus Opportunity Fund (OCOF)

  • Visit nearby villages like Soledad, Nueva Armenia, and Platanal

  • You will have a great balance of support and independence in creating your experience and using your own techniques to make the most of the program!
